Google reportedly pays Apple $20 billion a year to remain the default search engine on iPhones.

Most people think the deal is about search.

It's not.

It's about data.

Google collects 20X more of it than Apple, and this deal fuels their ad revenue engine which makes an eye-popping +$250 billion annually.

And in the AI era, that data may be more valuable than ever.

That's why investors are paying so much attention to Mode Mobile right now.

While Big Tech uses your searches, clicks, and behavior to power advertising and train AI systems...

Mode built a platform designed to help users participate in the value they create.

Its EarnOS platform rewards users for everyday smartphone activity and has already reached:

✓ 490M+ users

✓ $115M+ lifetime revenue

✓ $1B+ earned & saved by users

As AI makes user data increasingly valuable, many investors believe Mode's opportunity could become even bigger – especially now that the company has locked in its Nasdaq ticker ($MODE).

Fortunately, you can still get pre-IPO shares at just $0.52 (plus up to 20% bonus shares).

Invested Early: The 10 Highest-Rated Small Caps Right Now

The fun of AltIndex's AI score is that it doesn't care how big or how exciting a company is. It just reads the data. So when we point it at the small and micro caps, the names it surfaces are often ones you've never heard a single podcast mention.

Here are the 10 highest-rated small and micro caps ($50 million to $2 billion) on the platform today. As always, treat it as a starting point for your own digging, not a buy list.

What jumps out today is the hiring. AltIndex weighs job postings heavily as a forward signal, and three names here are staffing up fast: Southside Bancshares, Ranger Energy, and AudioCodes all posted double-digit jumps in openings over the past month, and companies rarely hire ahead of trouble. It's also an unusually income-friendly list for a "growth" screen, with seven of the ten paying a dividend, several yielding north of 4%, and Capital Southwest, a BDC, paying close to 10%. Insiders are active too: recent buys at Alphatec, Concentrix, and Kingstone (which was just outside the AI score cut). And the sectors are all over the map, from banks and shipping to oilfield services and auto parts, which tells you the model isn't chasing one hot theme right now.

None of that makes any single name a winner. Small caps like these trade on thin volume and can lurch 20% on a single headline, in either direction. The AI score tells you where the data is pointing today; the homework is still yours. If one of these earns a place in your portfolio, keep the position small and the research real. More breakdowns coming soon.
